What you can expect from our sites, what we ask of you in return, and who stands behind them. Short, because there is little to hide.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to the public sites run by Vixoris:

By using them you accept these terms. They do not cover the Klatos application or its sign-in service at id.vixoris.com: those are not open yet, and when they open they come with their own terms, published inside the app before you create an account. How we handle your data is a separate page: the privacy notice.

Using the sites

The sites are free to read. There is no account to create and nothing to buy. We ask only the obvious: don't attack the sites, don't scrape them at a pace that hurts other visitors, don't feed the forms with addresses that aren't yours, and don't pretend to be us.

The sign-up and contact forms are rate-limited. If you hit the limit, wait a little and try again.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means one thing: we email you when Klatos opens. It is free, it creates no obligation on your side, and it is not a purchase, a pre-order or a promise of a launch date or a feature set. Klatos ships when it is ready.

Your place on the list is confirmed by the link we email you, and only by that click. Whatever the waitlist site says you have earned — your place in line, your referral count, the Founding Member badge if you were among the first 500 to confirm — is yours as described there. Referral links are for sharing with people you know; a place earned by fake sign-ups is not a place.

You can leave at any moment: unsubscribe from any email, or delete your record entirely from the unsubscribe page. Deletion is immediate and final.

Our content and our names

The text, images, code and design of the sites belong to Vixoris or to the people who wrote for us, and are protected by copyright. Read it, link to it, quote a passage with attribution. Don't republish it whole or pass it off as your own.

Vixoris and Klatos, with their marks and logos, are the names of our company and our product. They are ours; please don't use them in a way that suggests we made or endorsed something we didn't.

Links to other places

Our pages link out — to essays, to tools we use, to Google Fonts. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we don't control them.

What we don't promise

We work to keep the sites accurate and available, and we say so on the page when something isn't ready. But the sites are provided as they are: we can't guarantee they will always be up, or free of mistakes, and we may change or take down any page at any time. To the extent French law allows, we aren't liable for loss that comes from relying on the sites or from being unable to reach them. Nothing here limits liability that the law says cannot be limited.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first — a real person answers, and most things resolve in a message or two. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protections of your own country's law.

Changes

When these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. Keep using the sites after that, and the new terms apply. We don't move the date for wording alone.
